ACCG Membership to Vote on 2019 Legislative Agenda
County officials are encouraged to attend the business session on Thursday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. to vote on the 2019 Legislative Agenda and Priorities. The business session presents the opportunity for the entire ACCG membership to vote on the issues the association’s policy team will take before the General Assembly and Congress.
Let your county’s voice be heard! Be sure to appoint your voting delegate to represent your county during this important session.

Opening General Session to Focus on Mental Health


Join ACCG and key issue stakeholders on Thursday, October 11 at 10:15 a.m. for a panel discussion on Georgia's mental health crisis – a multi-faceted issue that has created new dynamics for Georgia's county government officials. Moderated by Associate Legislative Director Debra Nesbit, the session will include Executive Director of the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association Terry Norris, Commissioner Judy Fitzgerald of the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, and other key stakeholders.
